Where is your attention - Keep your eyes focused on Christ.
How many times has my focus drifted in the wrong direction and off what's really important, causing havoc in my mind and emotions.
To have and keep peace, It is a must that I direct my heart making my mind steadfast on Him.
You will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast [that is, committed and focused on You-in both inclination and character],
(Isaiah 26:3) Keep -
Define: cause to continue in a specified condition, position, course, etc.
Peace -
Define: freedom from disturbance; tranquility.
Mind -
Define: a person's ability to think and reason; the intellect.
Steadfast -
Define: resolutely or dutifully firm and unwavering.
Inclination -
Define: an inclination is something you are leaning toward, a tendency you have.
Character -
Define: characteristic property that defines the apparent individual nature of something; the mental and moral qualities distinctive to an individual.
Prayer: Creator of Heaven and Earth, Remind me to keep my eyes and heart focused on you. For you alone are my ultimate place of PEACE, security, and shelter. Amen.
